From the Pastor

Why can’t we seem to find lasting solutions to the issues of family disintegration, crime, racial division, drug addiction, immorality, injustice etc.?

Many solutions have been proposed but several fall short of providing permanent answers. This is because the solutions used in addressing these issues negate the spiritual aspects.

I believe that every physical problem has a spiritual dimension. “The core cause of the problems we face is a spiritual one.

Isaiah 49:24-25 (NKJV) “Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the captives of the righteous be delivered? But thus says the LORD: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away. And the prey of the terrible be delivered;”

Many approaches of solutions are without the acknowledgement of the Sovereignty of the Lord, God who is Almighty. It is a nonstarter, regardless of the personality and principle involved, it is futile.

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27
It’s about time mankind seek the God of creation who has the power to change the dynamics of every situation on earth, and that’s exactly what we proclaim.

The promise to answer us through prayer must be adhered to and taken serious. ‘Jesus bids us to “Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:3

God is never too busy to listen to those who seek Him diligently because the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much.
Seek His face, explore what is in His divine promises, operate in them and it will surprise you they are yes and Amen. Depend on Him alone

I personally lived in misery day after day for many years until I realize to let go of the self and learnt to depend on the ever present help with super natural power to sustain and protect like Joseph.

In the intervening years Joseph spent eleven years as a slave and two years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. As a result of his unwavering confidence in his God, Joseph was able to persevere in all the difficult situations he went through.

“The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever…” Det. 29:29

Whatever is revealed can be seen by forces of darkness and wicked people who will seek to oppose it, family feud, hatred, dissension, bitterness, resentment, internal squabbles, name it.

This is what happened in Jacob’s family. Apparently, he did not learn from his previous experience with his brother Esau. His son Joseph revealed in detail to his brothers his dream of future leadership. This dream was of God but it infuriated the senior brothers so they conspired to kill him; that the prophecy wouldn’t be fulfilled.

This has been going on in many families. My purpose is to encourage victims of such circumstances to be strong in the Lord.
